Hampstead Theatre, National Theatre, Royal Opera and Royal Ballet, National Theatre, RSC , Battersea Arts Centre, and more are all going on line

British theatre has responded to the coronavirus emergency with great energy and imagination. Many companies are streaming work that has been filmed over the years, and Reviewsgate will try to cover some of the most interesting. Many will have been reviewed here before.

These are some of the companies that are streaming over the next few weeks, mostly on their YouTube channels.

All these are free, but  are time limited. This is not an exhaustive list but gives an idea of what is happening, and how quickly.
