A date for your diary? The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole 4**** comes off at the end of the month.
When it opened at the Menier Chocolate Factory in 2017 the Secret Diary of Adrian Mole aged 13 and three quarters was a four star delight. It subsequently transferred to the Ambassadors Theatre in the West End and remained just that. But now its run is about to come to an end on 28 September so if you are in search of something hilarious, nostalgic and utterly delightful you need to take the chance soon to pay a visit. Book and lyrics are by Jake Brunger, music and lyrics by Pippa Cleary and the director is Luke Sheppard. Sue Townsend’s Adrian Mole books about the schoolboy who loves Pandora and has aspirations above his station in life in 1960s Leicester are legendary and timeless and the show catches their spirit perfectly.
The Box Office number is 020 7395 5403.
