Reviewing Opportunities
Do you think you have reviewing skills? Yes? Then read the following and contact the editor, Rod Dungate.
Do you have a passion for theatre and drama, or concerts, or exhibitions? And do you want to share your views more widely? If so, consider writing reviews for us.
At ReviewsGate we're always looking for new reviewers; we welcome people from anywhere in the UK – and even beyond . Here's what we need from our reviewers:
• That you write from a position of knowledge about your chosen art form
• That you can write clear and grammatical UK English
• That you can follow the ReviewsGate format, but let your own voice come through
• Be able to send us reviews very soon after you have seen the event (usually the same or next day).
You do not need to be an experienced reviewer, but you do need to be willing to learn. On the other hand, you might be experienced; in which case you are also welcome.
ReviewsGate is a non-financed website; it is one of the longest-standing and is well respected. There is no payment for reviews, though tickets are usually made available to reviewers.
If you are interested in taking up this opportunity contact me, the editor (Rod@RodDungate.com) expressing your interest. You should also have a look at how our reviews work and attaching a 250-350 word review of an event or exhibition you have seen recently. At this stage, do not reserve tickets under our ReviewsGate name; we co-ordinate bookings centrally. Tickets will not be available to you until we arrange it.
We positively welcome new reviewing talent; and look forward to hearing from you.
