Books and CDs: DIFFERENT EVERY NIGHT: Mike Alfreds

Reader's Comment

We had to remove the comments space on the site some time ago because of unwanted and unacceptable spam. So this reader submitted his response to Ian's review of DIFFERENT EVERY NIGHT. Thanks; it's good to hear from you.

I agree with Ian's review of this book.

It is wonderful, and I find, is also a good metaphor and offers good tools for dealing with life as a whole. Re his reservations on Mike Alfred's insistence on long rehearsal periods, I can assure him that I have rehearsed - I am an actor - with a director who used many of Mike's methods and approaches over the standard four-week rehearsal period, and found it the most inspiring and freeing production I have ever been involved in. So it is possible with the right will and the right cast.
